A collection of 43 instruments sampled from a Yamaha DX7 Digital, Polyphonic, FM Synthesizer. Originally produced in 1983, the DX7 featured 16 Bit digital 6 operator FM Oscillators. The FM (Frequency Modulation) Synthesis of the DX7 allowed the creation of many complex an unique sounds. The DX7 could create metallic and percussive sounds, digital basses and pianos and thick, evolving pad sounds. The 45 patches include original DX7 presets and custom programmed patches. The collection includes a range of Bass, Keys, Pads, Leads and SFX patches. The Digital-X7 has been multi sampled in 24 bit WAV format. Each instrument rack contains extensive Macro controls and Audio Effect Racks that allow you to enhance or warp the sound further.
